Winterization
Overview
Our comprehensive winterization services protect vacant properties from freeze damage during harsh winters nationwide. We drain all plumbing systems, apply anti-freeze solutions, and ensure properties are prepared for cold weather to prevent costly burst pipes and water damage.
Scope of Work
- Shut off main water supply
- Drain all plumbing lines, fixtures, and water heater
- Blow out remaining water with compressed air
- Apply non-toxic anti-freeze to all traps and drains
- Disconnect and drain washing machine hoses
- Drain and service boiler/radiant heating systems
- Apply anti-freeze to toilets, sinks, and tubs
- Label all systems with winterization stickers
- Photo documentation of all winterized systems
Our Process

Scheduling
Winterization work orders are prioritized before the first freeze — typically October through December.

System Assessment
Complete evaluation of plumbing, heating, and water systems throughout the property.

Winterization Execution
All water lines drained, anti-freeze applied, and heating system serviced per HUD guidelines.

Verification & Tagging
All systems labeled, photo-documented, and completion report submitted to client.
